How is a pregnancy confirmed after IVF?

It is hard not to feel excited after undergoing IVF. However, doctors usually advise their patients not to get too excited  as there are multiple factors that may affect the outcome. You can hope to have a positive pregnancy test after ten  days of embryo transfer.

The right way to ascertain pregnancy is to trust your doctor by getting yourself checked at the clinic. You might read the details at https://kicbengaluru.com/ivf-center-in-bangalore/ in order to prepare yourself.Even the fertility doctors at the clinic will not rely on a single test.

1) A beta hcg pregnancy test will be done ten days after a blastocyst embryo transfer
2) A repeat test will be done after 2 or 3 days to check for doubling of the values
3) An ultrasound will reveal the heartbeat of the fetus after the 4 th week of embryo transfer confirming pregnancy

Is IVF safe for women with blocked tubes?

It is important for a woman to have the fallopian tubes intact especially during her child bearing days. It is a passage through which the healthy egg travels to the uterus. The passage may be restricted when the tubes are damaged or blocked. There are a number of factors that damage the fallopian tubes.

Your fertility specialist will be able to assess your situation and provide alternatives for getting pregnant.
You may opt for any of the following to conceive a baby and give birth:-

1) Tubal Cannulation for removing the blockage from one or both tubes. Women have been known
to become pregnant after this procedure. The success rate is 15 to 20%

2) Forcing the tube open is not an ideal situation for normal pregnancy. The fertility experts at KIC, Bengaluru find IVF to be an excellent alternative. Check how it will improve your chances of conception

IVF is the most dependable procedure to try. The procedure bypasses the need of fallopian tube as a healthy embryo is placed directly into the uterus for implantation. It is completely safe with very little risks involved.

What Medications are given during IVF procedure?

Infertile couples try to obtain the right treatment by visiting fertility specialists. While young couples have time on their side and can hope to get treated medically in order to achieve pregnancy, the matter becomes a bit difficult for women who are over 35 years of age. All is not lost, however.

Doctors advise IVF or any other assisted reproductive technique for them. IVF is certainly popular at present with
numerous patients benefiting from it. The female partner would have to take  medication with certain hormones being injected at different stages of the procedure in order to ensure success. Do check out the details of IVF by login to https://kicbengaluru.com/.

Meanwhile you can get an idea about the hormones that are used during IVF.

1) The concentration of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), anti-mullerian hormone & estradiol(estrogen)in the blood is tested to find out how the ovaries will respond to fertility drugs

2) The ovaries are  stimulated to produce multiple eggs that are fertilized outside the body during IVF.  hormonal injections which are safe  are used in this process. Injections of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) or HMG(human Menopausal gonadotropin ate used for the stimulation

However, doctors may also try a combination of both the hormones for getting effective results.

ideally how many embryo should be transferred in In Vitro Fertilisation

Surrogacy in India.

Fertilization takes place outside the body during IVF. This usually results in creation of multiple embryos. The IVF specialist check each embryo carefully and transfer only the healthy ones back into the uterus.

A single healthy Blastocyst embryo can result in pregnancy.

however ideally two Blastocyst embryos are recommended for transfer at Kiran infertility centre to optimize the chance of a positive result

Of course the opinion of the Intending parents is important as well to know if they are happy to have a twin pregnancy as transferring 2 blastocyst embryos gives an overall pregnancy rate of about 80% and gives about a 30 to 40 % chance of a twin pregnancy

Visit https://kicbengaluru.com/blastocyst-transfer-in-bangalore/ to learn more about this process.

waiting period between In Vitro Fertilisation cycles?

Couples are increasingly becoming more aware of assisted reproductive technology recently. That is why
most couples choose to visit a fertility expert after one year of trying to have a child unsuccessfully. The fertility doctors at KIC, Bengaluru are sensitive and knowledgeable.

They offer the right advice to their patients and help them to try alternatives such as the IVF technique. Older couples are advised to opt for 3 IVF cycles in order to improve the rate of success. It is not successive though for there is bound to be irritation and over stimulation of the ovary during the process.

1) Most fertility experts recommend waiting for at least one menstrual cycle before beginning on the second cycle.
2) The wait period may be shortened when a frozen embryo is utilized for the second cycle and the doctor does not have to start from scratch.
3) There is no specific waiting period though. It depends on the patient’s age as well as her health
condition.

You are welcome to go through https://kicbengaluru.com/ivf-center-in-bangalore/ for understanding the process properly

Is Intra Uterine Insemination the correct procedure for you?

Is IUI the right procedure for you?
clinics of the Kiran Infertility centre  are involved with a range of fertility treatments including IUI. This process involves placing washed spermatiozoa directly into the uterus in order to increase chances fertilization. However, this treatment is not meant for all infertile patients. Instead, the specialist doctors encourage conducting IUI on:-

1) Females with healthy fallopian tubes
2) Male partners with mild infertility issues but possessing a good sperm count and motility
3) Normal egg generation
4) Problem with cervical mucus in female partner

Couples are advised to have reasonable expectation as no procedure has 100% success. for some patients In vitro Fertilisation maybe a treatment of choice rather than IUI
