Infertility Risk Factors

Infertility Risk factors for women

Millions of couples around the world find it difficult to get pregnant every year. at the Kiran Infertility centre we advise a number of treatments for both the male as well as the female partner depending on the root cause.

Sadly, there are certain risk factors associated with infertility too. Make sure to stay away from them as much as possible in order to conceive and bear a child naturally. Here are the things that you need to ensure:-

1) Try to get pregnant by mid 20s or at least early 30s to enhance your chances
2) Give up smoking or consuming tobacco products regularly. Heavy smokers run the risk of being infertile. This occurs for both males and females
3) Try to have an optimum weight. Both obesity and being underweight hampers the possibility of getting pregnant
4) Speak to a fertility expert at https://kicbengaluru.com/ to obtain more information.
5) Try and Avoid Stress

Uterine Septum/Bicornuate uterus.

Reasons to remove uterine septum

The female uterus develops fully after two separate smaller units fuse completely together to form a
triangular shape. However, the two smaller components may fuse improperly causing a septum to
remain in between.

While it does not hinder life ordinarily, doctors advise getting rid of the septum as it may cause infertility. The best way to remove the partition and fibrous tissue from within the uterus is usually done by means of Hysteroscopy that does not pose as many risks as a conventional hysterectomy.

This procedure (https://kicbengaluru.com/hysteroscopy-treatment-in-bangalore/ ) also helps in:-

1) Improving the chances of becoming pregnant naturally
2) Reshaping the uterus so that it becomes normal in appearance and function
3) Recovering quickly as there are no associated complications usually.

all you need to know about ovulation

Importance of Ovulation

You often hear the term ovulation in a doctor’s clinic when you visit a fertility doctor for treatment. It is important to understand how ovulation can affect your chances of becoming pregnant.

It would suffice to know that ovulation is the process for release of mature eggs from the ovary that travels through the fallopian tube and meets a healthy sperm for fertilization to follow. Some of the things that you may
remember to note your own fertility cycle includes the following:-

1) Ovulation occurs roughly on the 14 th day from the beginning of menstrual cycle
2) Vaginal secretions tend to increase before ovulation
3) Doctors check the basal body temperature that increases slightly during the ovulation
4) A few women are asked to look out for signs of ovulation so that the most fertile period is not missed.

You may have to opt for an ART technique if the fertility expert feels that your ovulation is not up to
expectations. Stay informed by visiting https://kicbengaluru.com/assisted-reproductive-technology-in-
bangalore/

You can get all the information you need by going through https://kicbengaluru.com/icsi-treatment-in-bangalore/. This is usually done for males with serious fertility problems. The doctor is sure to recommend it when other forms of treatment prove ineffective.

Hello Dr. Samit,

I am U.k here, We had a baby boy yesterday.
I want to thank you and the whole team
for everything you have done to make this possible.

we have no words to thank you all enough.

All you need to know about In Vitro Fertilisation or IVF

Being worried about fertility issues and trying to have a child endlessly without success can lead to depression. The best way to solve the problem would be to consult the best fertility specialist in town and consider the options available.

In-Vitro fertilization commonly known as IVF is highly popular at the moment with a startling percentage of success. The experts at the Kiran infertility centre collect the healthy eggs from the female and have the male sperm added to it outside the body. The embryo resulting from it is then placed in the uterus and the concerned patient has to wait as an expectant mother.

The rest is similar to a normal pregnancy and doctors are available at all times to check on the progress until the woman delivers a healthy baby.

Unexplained infertility- causes and treatment

What is Unexplained infertility?

millions of persons, both male and female undergo fertility treatment every year throughout the globe. The success rate is quite high in most of the cases but a few infertile couples find it hard to conceive even with advanced fertility treatments. Such cases fall under the ambit of unexplained infertility

The fertility experts try their best to discover the reason behind infertility and are dedicated to treating their patients. Simply pronouncing it as unexplained will not be correct unless the couple is evaluated carefully with every possible cause being checked thoroughly. Check
https://kicbengaluru.com/infertility-assesment/ for details. An infertile
couple being diagnosed with unexplained infertility will reveal the following:-

1) Regular ovulation
2) Healthy egg reserve
3) Open  fallopian tubes
4) No uterine issues
5) Healthy sperm count and motility

However, if the couple fails to achieve pregnancy despite being healthy can cause emotional distress. Fertility doctors advice to get screened and start appropriate treatments at the earliest in such cases

How can cancer survivors preserve their fertility?

Cancer is a dreaded disease that can lead to significant morbidity and mortality. However, there are instances of people surviving cancer who may go on to lead healthy lives in the future.
.

for those who get afflicted by cancer before the child bearing age or if they do not have children and are planning for one in the future, a couple can become parents even after one of the partners has been affected with cancer in the past. Conceiving naturally after being treated with chemotherapy and radiation is rare and the best way to get pregnant after surviving cancer would be to opt for any of the following:-

1)IVF with third party assistance
2)Freezing eggs / sperms before undergoing treatment for cancer and then using them for IVF
3)Sperm donation
4) Egg donation
5) Surrogacy

Check out all treatment options by visiting https://kicbengaluru.com/
