What are the mistakes that need to be avoided after embryo transfer

Many patients are worried about what they should and should not do after receiving an embryo. The concern is that if they make a mistake, the embryo will not adhere or fall out. After an IVF embryo, transfer the patient should relax even though bed rest is not recommended. The first thing is once the embryo is successfully transferred it will never fall out. After the embryo transfer, successful pregnancy will happen if it implants into the uterine lining. This is not in your control. But taking your medications properly and following your doctor's instructions can increase the odds of success.

However, the most common mistakes after Embryo Transfer that a patient usually make as per the embryologists of Kiran Infertility Centre – Hyderabad include-

·        Stop taking drugs without the advice of a fertility specialist.

·        Taking unnecessary  drugs without the prescription of the doctors

·        Take home pregnancy tests very often and get stressed

·        Not continuing with their daily chores and don’t remain active rather they take bed rest all the time

When does an Implantation cramp occur? Who should take a note of it?

The length of every menstrual cycle is different and the newly fertilized egg takes around six to 10 days for implantation in the uterus after ovulation. The duration of experiencing implantation cramps might vary accordingly.

The time of implantation cramps is generally 4-8 days before the next period is about to occur. It is the case only when the menstrual case is regular.

The case is applicable only when there is an average 28-day menstrual cycle. If the condition isn't the same, the time of implantation cramps may differ accordingly and one should not worry about these cramps few may even experience bleeding during implantation. This is very much normal

GnRH (Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone): What Is It and How Does It Work

The term gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) is an abbreviation for gonadotropin-releasing hormone. The hypothalamus in the brain produces this hormone. GnRH operates on anterior pituitary gland receptors. The gonadotropin hormones follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) are released by the pituitary gland in response to GnRH (LH).

The ovaries in women and the testes in males are then stimulated by FSH and LH. They cause the ovaries to mature and produce eggs, as well as the testes to mature and generate sperm in males.

What influences the success of infertility treatment in men and women?

As per the doctors of Kiran Infertility Centre – Hyderabad, the age of the woman is the most important factor. A woman’s fertility also declines with the rising age especially after 40 years that may result in frequent miscarriages, abortions, or inability to conceive.

Naturally, the probability of infertility also increases if her male counterpart or spouse has infertility issues such as low sperm count or any other hormonal disorders. With assisted reproductive technologies or ART such as IVF, ICSI, IUI can help in increasing the success rate of infertility treatment in men and women.
