what is the difference between a day 3 embryo and a Blastocyst on day5/6

The above picture shows the difference between a day 5 blastocyst and a embryo on day 3.

Even though Day 3 and day 5 of embryo growth are only a couple of days apart there is a significant difference between these two stages.

Since the embryos grow rapidly, single cell will divide every 12 to 24 hours. So by the time it reaches 3 days of growth, it will be divided between four to eight cells. Similarly on day 5, an embryo will consist of between 100 and 120 cells.

We at Kiran Infertility Center at Hyderabad/bengaluru/ Chennai schedule embryo transfer, by focusing on the quality of the embryo than its stage of growth. Our goal is to choose the best embryos for transfer, which is likely to implant and develop into a healthy fetus.

Personally i prefer Blastocyst transfers though!! the feeling of seeing a fully grown about to hatch blastocyst is something else!!

To know more about when it is done and for whom it is advised kindly check our website:

Do the the chances of a second natural pregnancy increase after a succesful IVF pregnancy?

Fertility doctors recommend their patients to try IVF when they are unable to conceive naturally after years of trying. While there might be several underlying factors causing infertility, doctors remain perplexed by cases where no specific cause can be diagnosed for infertility.

Strangely, medical science has found evidence of patients who had success with IVF becoming pregnant for the second time naturally.

Couples who have adopted out of desperation have experienced such miracles too. There is no hard core research to substantiate the facts, however. Do check out the following facts before contacting your doctor at KIC, Bengaluru (https://kicbengaluru.com/)

1) A study conducted in UK revealed that 29% of women who underwent the treatment could conceive naturally after 6 years
2) 17% couples who found success with other treatments could conceive the second child without assistance

Doctors say that their patients are not sterile but infertile and being treated for a medical condition helped them to recover fully.

How is a pregnancy confirmed after IVF?

It is hard not to feel excited after undergoing IVF. However, doctors usually advise their patients not to get too excited  as there are multiple factors that may affect the outcome. You can hope to have a positive pregnancy test after ten  days of embryo transfer.

The right way to ascertain pregnancy is to trust your doctor by getting yourself checked at the clinic. You might read the details at https://kicbengaluru.com/ivf-center-in-bangalore/ in order to prepare yourself.Even the fertility doctors at the clinic will not rely on a single test.

1) A beta hcg pregnancy test will be done ten days after a blastocyst embryo transfer
2) A repeat test will be done after 2 or 3 days to check for doubling of the values
3) An ultrasound will reveal the heartbeat of the fetus after the 4 th week of embryo transfer confirming pregnancy

Indications of Infertility

Being unable to conceive can wreck havoc in the life of a married couple in India. While many women try out home remedies, it is necessary to consult a Fertility specialist when there is no sign of pregnancy after having unprotected sex for atleast a year.

Sure, your doctor would be able to inform you about the cause behind the absence of pregnancy but will you be able to figure out that you are infertile by yourself? Do check...

1) Being unable to conceive a child without trying any birth control measures is definitely the first inkling that you will have
2) Shorter or longer menstrual cycles may also be a symptom of infertility
3) Complete absence of menstrual periods is definitely an indication that your reproductive organs are not functioning properly
4) Pain in the pelvic region may also contribute to infertility but you will have to get yourself tested
for discovering the cause at first

Do not hesitate to go through https://kicbengaluru.com/infertility-assesment/ and consult the fertility expert at KIC, Bengaluru for assistance.
