Surrogacy in Nepal

We Are happy to announce the birth of the first babies through our Surrogacy program in Nepal
a boy and a Girl For Mr.Martin from USA
a boy and a Girl for Mr.Nick from Australia.

it's been a challenging few weeks for Nepal as a country and for us as well to assess the damage caused and to take care of the immediate challenges in terms of arranging proper Obstetric care for the mothers and Paediatric care for the children
we are thankful to the Grande International Hospital for taking such excellent care of the mothers and their babies in these trying times. we are also extremely thankful to the ground team -Roshan,Vikram and Suman who bravely stayed back to help the needy in this dire situation when people better equipped fled nepal for Safety
Things are falling into place.  flights are pretty much back to normal barring a few delays.Hotels, restaurants etc are doing their best to offer their services in the best manner possible
we are also thankful to Sirisha Panchagnula for donating 150us$ towards " HELP NEPAL " initiative.your help will forever be remembered by the people of Nepal.A lot of folks talk about helping but only a few come forward and actually help!!
Nepal will bounce back!!

Indian Surrogacy Bill likely to alllow Single Men and Women to have a baby through Surrogacy

Surrogacy in India.
New Delhi: The government is "working" on finalising a bill which will regulate assisted reproduction like surrogacy, the Rajya Sabha was told on Tuesday.
The Indian Council Medical Research (ICMR) is revising the Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Bill, Minister of State for Health Shripad Yesso Naik said.
"The government is working on finalising Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Bill which also covers surrogacy," he said in a written reply in Rajya Sabha.
He said that during inter-ministerial consultation some ministries and departments submitted their comments which were considered by the Department of Health Research (DHR) in consultation with Ministry of Law and Justice.
"The ICMR is revising the Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Bill, based on these comments," he said.
As per reports, the bill seeks to address issues like how many pregnancies can be allowed for a surrogate mother, the age of the mother and due compensation to be paid to her.
The bill will also allow single parents to have children through surrogates. The bill states that health insurance and regular tests will be made mandatory for surrogates, as per reports.

Xmas Message from kate And Glen Lopez and their beautiful Daughter Zoe!

Dear Dr. Samit Sekhar & Kiran InfertilityCenter Staff,
Though the surrogacy journey I met and and spoke to so many couples that have only one wish - to become parents and nothing makes me happier than news that finally their dream of becoming parents will be coming true!
I met many lucky couples that have babies already of course Kiran Babies!
Over the past 2 weeks I found out that 2 lucky couples will become parents!!! One week ago I received a phone call from a couple that I met when Zoe was just a little baby and they shared that they will be having not one, not two, but THREE babies! OMG, when I hung up the phone I cried from happiness like a baby. My husband thought that somebody died. Today I found out that another dear friend of mine will have twins next year - this was the best Xmas present ever!!!! Thank you Dr. Samit and the Kiran Staff, there is no words that can describe how grateful we all are for what you are doing. I do not care if Santa is coming! I received the best Xmas gift - news of the babies coming. I have the feeling that the next year will be even better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have a very Merry Christmas. May you all in India be as happy as all of the happy parents.here's a picture of them with their daughter who was also born through our surrogacy program and they are expecting a sibling next month.

The French Council of State specifies about Surrogacy!!

A person is of French nationality if at least one of his/her parents is French;
2. Being born abroad through surrogacy does not exclude the possibility of obtaining the French citizenship, even though it is illegal in France. The important is that the criterion above mentioned is satisfied. It is fundamental to grant the child – highlight Judges –the right to the respect of their private life, as recommended in the ECHR’ s Article 8.
