Hearty Congratulation to Mr.Cory Howland from the USA on the birth of his Son- 3.5 kilograms .the boy was born a couple of days ago and is doing well. the American Post birth process is by far the easiest compared to other countries-it is simple and straightforward, the latin american countries such as Brasil,Argentina comes a close second followed by Canada and Spain.Australia is also straightforward but time consuming-30 to 40 days. UK by far is the Worst in terms of processing citizenship and passport applications and will take anywhere between 4 to 6 months.
when we did our first UK case in 2006/7,it was so much simpler- 14 days however when more and more people started to go abroad for Surrogacy they decided to tighten things by extending the time frame slowly but surely, perhaps under the impression that it will prevent people from going abroad for surrogacy. well it did not actually happen that way and we still get a lot of Folks from UK for Surrogacy in India and Nepal as well and they are not deterred by the time frame to leave India with their baby/ies.

Surrogacy for Spanish Couple
Jose and Linda from Spain sent me this really beautiful video of their twins born in may 2015 with the help of our Nepal Program. so happy for them that they have gone back home and settled in nicely.
it took them about a month to get the passport and citizenship from the spanish consulate in new Delhi
they were our first spanish case in KTM and the second Case of Ariel and Guillermo was a lot faster in terms of obtaining citizenship and passport.

whenever i go to Kathmandu it is always like a working holiday for me,even though i go for a very short time.
it is a beautiful Valley City Surrounded by Mountains on all sides, it is densely populated and the people are extremely helpful, friendly,Religious and laid back.
i love the plane ride from New Delhi to Kathmandu,if you are lucky and the sky is clear you get a very nice view of the Himalayas!!
i especially love the food in Kathmandu,it is delicious to say the least,a lot like Indian food but the quality of the meat is amazing, being Hindu i eat only Lamb,Chicken and Sea food and i doubt we get the same quality of meat here in India.every street is dotted with all kinds of Eating joints which cater to all budgets.
the hotels are lovely in KTM,this time i stayed at the Park Village resort which is huge and on the outskirts of the city.it is a lovely place to be staying with your Babies post birth because it has a lot of open space and greenery! no wonder a majority of the IP's who have had babies born recently are staying there.it has a calming and soothing affect on you and the staff at the Resort will teach you to meditate and do Yoga etc.
Till now we have had 12 babies born through our Surrogacy program in Kathmandu for Spanish,American and Australian Intended parents and 9 of them have gotten Citizenship/passport and exits for their babies. http://surrogacycenternepal.com/gallery/
the remaining 3 babies-twins for a spanish couple and a baby girl for the Australian couple are awaiting their passports and exits which should happen this week. we now have the distinction of being the first centre in Kathmandu to have delivered babies for Australians,Spanish and American Intended parents.
A word of Appreciation for the Authorities in Nepal,it's been a little over 2 months since the big one hit KTM but passing through the streets and looking from the roof tops it does not appear like there was ever an Earthquake.
pretty much everything is back to normal and am very happy for kathmandu and it's People!!

Congratulations to Ariel and Guille from Spain on the birth of their
Twin Daughters! both weigh about 2 kilos and are healthy and doing
well!! they were born 2 days ago.
there are currently 4 spanish babies in kathmandu-Nepal working with the Honorary consulate to prepare documents to be processed by the consulate in New Delhi.
since these are the first few cases there will be issues that crop up because i sense that the respective consulates also want to tread cautiously and not issue the citizenship and passports immediately thereby giving a sense of comfort to the Intended parents that the process is easy.

Everyday I get close to 200 emails, most of them are patient correspondence and part of my daily work.even though there is never a dull moment at work, sometimes I get emails which really bring into perspective the work we do on a daily basis
one such Email I got from Gracelyn and Leroy from Toronto,Canada
their twins were born a couple of months ago in Hyderabad with the help of a surrogate mother, below are pictures of little Imani and Leroy Jr.

We have had 8 babies born in the last couple of
weeks all twins for parents from Australia/USA and Spain.we are
in the process of finalizing paper work for them and the American parent has
already applied for citizenship for their babies
We have already started the clinic for work and our next case is posted for end of the month. The medical staff is now mentally ready to start work again and that is what we all think that to get over the emotional scarring and the fear that gripped all of Nepal the last few weeks will wean away only if we start resuming work again. That is the best way forward is to work because when you are able to bring new life into this world even in difficult circumstances it is bound to give you the energy needed to rebuild a city As I have stated before Nepal will bounce back because the people deserve to get back to their earlier life which is one of happiness and contenment
A lot of IP's who were at the final stages of deciding about the surrogacy program in Nepal might be having second thoughts about whether to continue or not keeping mind the two major earth quakes The one on April 25th was devastating and resulted in great loss of life and badly damaged the historical sites some dating back to the 14th century However Kathmandu city is a mix of the old and the new and hence the newer buildings /hotels/our clinic/Airport are safe and intact albeit with minor damages Kathmandu Airport is fully operational and running
