The Process of Conception
Ovulation– When a mature egg is released from the ovary, it is pushed down
the Fallopian tube, and is available to be fertilized by sperm. Ovulation often
happens around day 14 of a menstrual cycle, although the exact timing might
vary among women or even from month to month.
Fertilization– Occurs when one sperm penetrates the egg, combining their
genetic material. The sperm and egg each contain 23 chromosomes holding all of
the information that determines your child’s sex and contributes to your
child’s genetic make-up. Within 24 hours of fertilization, the egg, now
called a zygote, divides into 2 cells. The number of cells doubles about every
12 hours as the zygote continues to move toward the uterus.
Implantation– About 3 days after fertilization, the zygote has become a ball
of 32 cells. A few days later, it reaches the uterus as a ball of approximately
500 cells. On day 7 the zygote implants into the uterine wall.

I was invited to deliver a lecture on "Costs and Logistics of Surrogacy in India" at a 2 day seminar in San Francisco!!
it''s a beautiful City and i got to meet Kate and Glen Lopez with their Little Ones Zoe and Nolan who were both Conceived and Delivered by the KIC Surrogacy Program
i also Met Esmeralda and Chris who stay in Bakersville who very kindly drove down to meet us with their Son Kai who was also born with the help of our Surrogacy program.
it was great to catch up with them after such a long Time,Esme and Chris are expecting their twins again by the end of the year with the Kiran infertility centre- Surrogacy program.

Yesterday i was chatting with our Patient co ordinator from the UK and we were discussing how we enjoy the work we do,both of us had similar thoughts and this is what i told her when we were discussing work!!
"Our work is such we are blessed!!
Everyone at home says I am a workaholic but
they probably don’t realise the amount of pleasure I derive from this work.seeing all
those babies i have helped conceive in the Embryology lab is such a joy! I feel blessed that God Gave me
the skill and the opportunity at such a young age!!
I will get the opportunity to see
Hundreds of children grow up in front of me thanks to the Internet and facebook!!not many
Doctors or embryologists will have the oppurtuntiy to experience what I am
experiencing because e a lot of them start their careers in their thirties and forties!!
I was lucky to start in my early
twenties!!
and to now present the births in the last week
congratulations to Manine and Maciek Imosa From Australia on the birth of their baby girl. 2.5 Kilos at the time of birth and doing well.we wish them well!!
Congrats to Melissa and Bhasker from Canada on the birth of their baby boy,he came a little early and is a tiny fellow but is doing well and to Soraya and Mohummad from Mauritius on the birth of their baby boy as well.

late last week Tatiana Goncalves and Sandro Menzes from Brasil were blessed with a healthy baby boy.
So congratulations to them!!
the Hot Summer is coming to an End with the arrival of Monsoon and the Rains!! it's getting cooler by the day in Hyderabad
Gurgaon is very hot because the rains begin a little later in the northern part of the country
we had our first batch of cases in Gurgaon last month and we achieved a 50% pregnancy rate which is good according to International standards but i am not happy,i believe we can do more and i have spoken to the team in Gurgaon about it!!
it is a small and modest start but we hope to help more couples there when our presence is more noticed as within a 2 mile radius there are 8 other facilities which offer fertility treatments!! it is competitive but i wouldn't have it any other way!!

The important is that the criterion above mentioned is satisfied. It is fundamental to grant the child – highlight Judges –the right to the respect of their private life, as recommended in the ECHR’ s Article 8.
