Sankrantri Wishes from KIC!

Makar Sankranti is an Indian festival celebrated in almost all parts of India and Nepal in lots of cultural forms. It is a harvest festival.
Makar Sankranti marks the transition of the Sun into the zodiac sign of Makara (Capricorn) on its celestial path. The day is also believed to mark the arrival of spring in India and is a traditional event. Makara Sankranthi is a solar event making one of the few Indian festivals which fall on the same date in the Gregorian calendar every year: 14 January, with some exceptions when the festival is celebrated on 15 January. At Kic, we celebrate by flying a lot Kites and we wish all of our friends- a very happy and Joyous Sankrantri!!

Dear Dr Samit Sekhar,

Happy New Year!  I just thought I would drop you a line to update you on our little boy, Cosmo, and thank you once again for helping make our dream come true.  Despite his very shaky start to life he is doing well and his big sister adores him.  It is amazing to think we only started this journey a little over a year ago and he is already 5 months old.  Please thank everyone who made this happen and Satvinder for all his hard work with the paperwork.  We head to the UK in two weeks to start the parental order process so fingers crossed it will be ok.

We have started being mobile... Crawling, holding and standing up and saying a few words like mamamama, dadadadada.

We hope all is well with you and your family.  We hope 2016 brings positive news on foreign surrogacy front and more parents can be happy like ours because of your gift!

We hope very much that the Indian government accepts foreigners to have acces to the surrogacy program in India and realize their greatest dreams, and their right, to start a family.
