Testicular Sperm Aspiration (TESA) is a procedure performed for men who are having sperm retrieved for IVF/ICSI. It is commonly done for the people who are suffering from obstructive azoospermia.
In this method, a needle is inserted in the testicle and tissue/sperm are aspirated. The aspirated tissue is then processed in the embryology laboratory.
