The reasons for doing testicular biopsy in
male patients with infertility
To
determine the reason for male infertility, a testicular biopsy may be

testicular biopsy is also performed if any of the following conditions are met
such as
• The sperm count is low or there is no
sperm in the ejaculation.
• The results of the hormone test are not
within normal limits
A testicular biopsy may be performed to obtain
sperm for IVF or intracytoplasmic sperm injection (IVF-ICSI)
