Ovulation is the release of an egg from an ovary during the menstrual cycle of a female. Here are some facts about ovulation that you must know
1)A part of the ovary called the ovarian follicle discharges the egg.
2) Egg travels down the fallopian tube where it may meet sperm and get fertilized.
3) Ovulation is controlled by a part of the brain called the hypothalamus
